finding E85 stations for a trip

Recommended Posts

You only need fuel every 250 miles or so , simply find the cities along your route that have E85 and print a map

btw I AM working on adding a Map at every location..

I was trying to keep it under wraps until I finished but here's the basic Idea..I'm creating a E85 Prices page for each state now that the site has taken off and I am getting a lot of e85 price submissions from all the States now .. at the top of those state pages will be a link that displays all the Stations in that State ..  http://e85prices.com/e85price-Wisconsin.html

will be a nice feature whn I am finished..

I have someone working on a script to handle all the E85 price submissions..getting to be too much to do it manually everyday

I know how to find the cities but thats not really what im asking. if I just find the city it could be 20 miles out of the way just to fillup for all I know

I'm trying to find something that will locate stations closest off a certain highway

You want a navigator device in your car that will "tell " you when you are approaching a E85 station with-in say 1 mile of the interstate ?

Sorry Dan, I just thought we better not miss using a drop of E85. Those maps on NEVC aren't 100% perfect. Back in 2001 when I first got the Taurus I tried to make it to McCall ID and back on only E85. I could have come close except I drove by the pump in Rapid City and West Yellowstone because the map was wrong. The station in Boise didn't sell it anymore also.
