New video proof of what most of us know.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I just caught this short video demo of gasoline and additives damaging plastics more than ethanol. Enjoy, it's a whopping 20 seconds long.

I apologize if this has been previously posted here.

Nathan Vander Griend, an insurer of ethanol plants, has done a lot of work on this. He showed me an experiment involving the rubber hosing seen in fuel lines. Very fascinating, yet something that doesn't take a whole lot.

You know, so long as I get to keep working there, I should just break down and get some of the fuel line the hobby shop I work for sells to try this. We have DuBro brand Silicone, Tygon, and Neoprene line and it would be interesting to see a length of each put in bottles of 10% vs 85%. I've even though of doing a Red Solo Cup test to see how well the college student's best friend holds up to the two.
