E15 falling on it's tail.. RFA has no Choice but to push Blender Pumps

Recommended Posts

Thankfully it looks like Retailers are not jumping at replacing E10 with E15 so it appears at least at this stage that the only way for the RFA and  Corn Lobby to get more Marketshare is to start pushing for more blender pumps ..we get the E85 , they get the higher volume sales of E15 and Consumers aren't forced to take E15.(Blender Pumps=let the consumer decide)

That REALLY is IMO the best Path anyways ..keeps everyone relatively happy.

Lets stabilize corn prices with nice strong  steady growth via blender pumps and stop the mad rush trying to replace E10 with E15..that would do nothing but run up corn prices again this coming summer

I have always tried to combat all the misinformation on the made up damage factor  and exagerated mileage loss claims around E-15. So I have to agree with you Dan. Was a bad strategy to push for E-15 when the efforts could have gone more to E-85 and blender choices from the get go. Pessimism and negativity is hard to overcome, even with facts.

Just think, it's right at 10 years since the blender pump idea was presented to people like Lucy Norton, Scot Negley, Curtis Donaldson, and Phillip Lampert at NEVC. A single product dispenser should have been obsolete years ago.
