What Vehicle Makers Are Looking At To Meet Cafe Requirements

Recommended Posts

Definitely an interesting read. I certainly hope they underestimated the amount of cars that will run on something other than gasoline by 2025.

Oh, and in regards to those MPG requirements, the overall MPG requirement is 54, with light trucks and cars being at 60, and trucks being lower. It's not specific though... does that refer to mileage that can be obtained when you race up to stoplights, don't use cruise control, and don't drive in a manner favorable to high MPG?
