2013 Chevy Volt will NOT be a FFV

Recommended Posts

At temps below 32°F, the ICE comes on enough to warm the battery. Older Volts don't use the exhaust to warm it quicker, but that's a feature on the newer models (2015?). As the outside temp gets colder, obviously the ICE runs more. For my 6 mile commute in subzero temps, that means the ICE runs the whole distance.

Really disappointed there was no E85 option, but the gas system is sealed and depressurized when you press the button in the door to fill. The ECU monitors the age of the gasoline and will automatically run the ICE to use up fuel it deems to be old.

More details please... :)

Is this with the Cruze injectors?

Can you run E10 w/o throwing a rich code?

What happens with just the injectors (no tune)?

Thanks.
