E-85 Conversion/Option for hybrid

The Ford C-MAX Hybrid debut is looking more enticing:

No news yet on whether the 2.0l 4-cyclinder can sip E-85.

 

 

I'm impressed..considering the price is well below 30k..  26K or so ..starting to get in a  range that allows volume sales.

 

 

Sipping E85?..I suspect much like any newer vehicle it can probably handle E40,E5,E60 as is.

I want one... unfortunately there's wants and there's needs.... they are not the same.  ;D

 

I had to remove my conversion and add enough E10 to get E30 to take it to the stealership again. I hate doing that.

The Ford 4 cylinder models have used an "EV6" fuel injector form for a number of years.  I suspect this will hold true for the new Cmax.

Just got back from the Ford Dealer looking for the C Max .. They don't have the C Max in yet. 

 

 

They did have plenty of the Ford Focus FFV's though.  They had a lot of the Hatchback Models but at $23k ..too spendy for a City "run a about" 

 

 

Better off with a  Chevy Cruze at $17K and put a conversion kit on it.

I've thought the same thing...

 

If not the whole car, why not just the ECU/fuel system...

 

Leave it to the Environmental Protection Agency to "protect" us from buying/building cars that would be cleaner burning and more "environmentally" friendly...
