texmln 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2011 E85 is now being sold at the Quick Track station located on the soutbound side of US Hwy 287 in Decatur, TX. I do not have the exact adddress and have been unable to find one online but is approximately 1200 US 287. E85 was priced at 3.10 vs 3.25 for regular unleaded as of Nov. 13. cessna 9 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 Just looked for it on Google maps. It is about 1/2 mile north of where 380 and 81/287 intersect. Hopefully you talk it up at the races.
HuskerFlex 48 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 be sure to post the prices... $2.99 out side of the "ethanol belt" of the Midwest is quite good. We do see good prices out of Texas from time to time. Be sure to spread the word and get people to patronize these places... try to get others to follow their pricing! lonestarrpm 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2012 We are racing a Porsche 924S and a 944 We are sponsored by White Energy to convert and race our cars. ChumpCar World Series is grass roots endurance racing Take a $500 car -- put in the proper safety equipment and road race it for 12-24 hours. We have converted both cars -- and they seem to be very happy but we haven't had them out on the track yet. Next week will be our inaugural E85 race -- although the team and the cars have been around for a couple years. Should be interesting to see if there is an effect on power or fuel efficiency on the track. Most of the time you are wide open throttle -- not something most folks see on the street.
