What kind of Active E85 Vehicle do you operate here in ILLINOIS?

Recommended Posts

Just curious what FFV's were being utilized in IL....

I drive a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L Reg Cab, Long Bed....

What you got!?

Kawtoy, i'm a member over on ridingillini

have you noticed ethonol prices being cheaper at any certain station around C-U?

BTW I'm driving a 09 Silverado 4x4 z71 and I regularly run E85 unless I'm outa town and cant find it.

Road Ranger at the leverett rd & I-57 interchange. There is also an FS in Gibson City that carries E85, but they are always higher, than what chambana prices are by about 10 cents a gallon.

2011 Grand Cherokee with the 3.6 Pentastar....once I figured out e85 is cheaper per mile than running straight gasoline here in the Rockford area, I was on board 100%

so few people are willing to do the simple miles/$ math...

Sure you may loose 10-15% in mileage... but it cost 20-25% less (well, at least here in Omaha Nebraska ;)).

I'm no math wiz, but according to my rudimentary skills, that means more $ in my pocket... (not to mention more money staying in local economy, more money staying in the US... and MANY other benefits!)
