Winter Operation?

Recommended Posts

How does e85 do in a severe Fairbanks winter [-40F]?  I'm from there but moved south to the northwest.

Running would be fine..it's cold start that you would really have issues . At 40 below you would have to have an extra tank for gasoline for starts then dwitch over to e85 .  Atruck with dual tanks would be perfect. For a car you'd have to install a small tank for the gas.  I ran at around 20 below this winter..few extra cranks to start ..running is perfectly fine though.
