XcelPlus Engine Treatment Kit

Recommended Posts

http://xcelplus.com/

This is an engine/fuel treatment that is suppose to protect the engine from corrosion and increase your MPG's around 6-15%.

I have already converted my 1999 Ford Escort ZX2.  I normally get around 15% less MPG running E85 now.  My car gets 30-32 MPG on regular gasoline/E10.  It gets 25-26 MPG on E85.

Today I put this treatment into my car so we'll see what happens.  The fuel treatment will take a full tank of gas to fully treat the engine and the oil treatment is in the oil now.  So after this tank I should start seeing some results.

I will keep you up to date.

I went though my first tank of E10.

I've been working allot of overtime at work lately, so I've had to hurry to work a few times on some of the days I almost slept in.  I had 31 MPG this first tank.  Not bad for romping on it a few times to get to work on time.

I'll try to drive normally this time and we'll see how it goes.

All of the fuel treatment has now gone though the engine.  So the fuel and oil system should have been fully treated now.

My second tank of E10 still got me 34 MPG.  I checked E85 price in Lincoln, NE $2.89/Gal.  That the same price as regular. :-\

Jeremy how do you like your  Ford Escort ZX2 ?

The MPG sounds great .

Here's the lasted MPG for this last tank of gasoline.  I drove 371.1 miles and put in 9.207 gallons in this morning.  That would put my mileage at 40.3 MPG.  My car normally would get around 32 miles per gallon.  If it would stay at that MPG that would be a 25% increase.

I would like to run E85 now but I'm having a hard time getting myself to buy it at $2.97/gallon.  E10 is $2.73.  Maybe next week I'll put E85 in.  I hope it drops in price by then!

I only bought the Gas Engine Protection Kit instead of the E85 Gas Engine Protection Kit.  The only difference I could see was the E85 Gas Engine Protection Kit had a cleaner in it.  I have already ran plenty of E85 though my car so I figured it was already pretty clean.

Gas Engine Protection Kit  $39.95

E85 Gas Engine Protection Kit   $49.95

Well I was going to give a link to see the installation video, but I can't find it. :-[

If you would like to see the video let me know I can get it to you.
