Fuel composition sensor used on Ford FFV's

I found the Ford part number for the Siemens dielectric constant sensor used in the gas line of the older FFV's. When I went to biodiesel school they said the same sensor could be used to sense biodiesel %. The number is YL5A-9C044-AA.

I found this information:  Ford has eliminated the FF sensor on the Taurus for model years 2000 and newer, and only uses fuel trims and O2 activity to calculate alcohol content.

The individual making this statement has been in the automobile mechanic for 30 plus years, has ASE master certification. 

 

I still would like to find a piece of hardware that can visually display the ethanol composition of your fuel.  After several hours of searching,  :( I'm not sure something like this currently exists.
