  4. Now the pricing is even worse. Gas is 1.85 E-85 is 1.98.
  5. Thanks for the links. I found this. http://www.fuel-testers.com/order_ethanol_alcohol_fuel_test_kit.html
  6. I didn't know there were no labeling laws in mi.
  7. Just found my first station with E-10. This is on the west side of the state. Is E-10 just now starting to enter mi.? Thanks
  8. Just some bad news from Michigan. Just seen yesterday here in Holland, gas $1.99 gal. E-85 $1.98 gal. Last week it still had a .50 cent advantage. I hope the ethanol industry does not dry up now. What is every one seeing in other parts of the country?
  9. Both Gas and E-85 went up 0.30 Saturday here in west MI. I only have one station in about 35 miles with E-85.
  10. Some thing I found thismorning. http://www.gofastnews.com/board/say-what-you-want-shake-up/1296-death-opec.html

  12. I think this is what you are after. (Now, because of its affinity for water, I strongly recommend anyone dabbling with ethanol based fuels to get and install a Ramco fuel filter/water seperator as well. They can be reached at 701-476-1320. I tested one last year and had excellent results. It flows (up to 300 gph) w/o pressure loss and has a simple (and compact) 5 micron spin on replacement filter and it isn't all that expensive either. Ask them for the Flowmax 300 and tell them I sent you. Water won't hurt you other than causing lean out of the mixture. If you're running on the edge that can be real bad.) This is from this web page. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/carburetors/344489-e-85-jetting.html?highlight=filter+water
  13. The same world bank from this video? http://e85vehicles.com/e85/index.php/topic,1666.0.html If so it makes sense.
  14. I have 1 it is a Meijer station about 5 mi., only 50cent cheeper than 87. The next closest is 25mi.
  15. May be send a pm to Dan M. he can pm you a list.
  16. Just thought I would add the old small block chevy. With 350ci engine you can get 11.62-1 with Flat top pistons( with the correct 1.56 pin height),.02 piston to deck cl., casting number 601(last 3 dig.)305 55cc(some are 53cc,production tolerances)heads and .020 head gaskets. If you mill the heads to 50cc you will get 12.47-1. If the heads were the 53cc it would be 11.95-1. old blue 75
  17. I have a 98 should be the same engine. Did you have any problems with the fuel filter plugging or is that just a myth?
  18. I know this is old but. Dan do you still have this vehicle? If so how is it running, and what % ethanol were you able to run? old blue 75
  19. I think one of the big things that the e-85 industry needs to do is eliminate the use of oil products in the making and delivery of the ethanol. Then all of the people whining about it can just put a sock in it.
  20. Many, 1992 chevy cavalier,1998 gmc jimmy,1986 chevy 1/2 ton(carbed)&1975 camaro(also carbed). Probably start with the cavalier. Any one know if MI. 87 octane is E-10?
  21. I am from mi. I do not own a ffv yet but I am thinking about starting to mix in e-85 and see what my car will take. I would also like to build a e-85 specific engine for my camaro. May also look into a conversion kit.
  22. Just joined to day. Been lurking for a while though it was time. old blue 75
