Las Vegas, NV--Listed as e85 but isn't
« on: August 02, 2009, 10:31:07 AM »
Las Vegas Family Express 2014 Ann Road IS NOT e85! Don't be a me and expect it when you roll in to fill up.

Also,
Las Vegas  Huey's Mart 4371 N Rancho IS NOT e85!

I was 0 for 2 until I went to...(drum roll)

6000 Sky Pointe Las Vegas Town Center Grocer

It is listed as 600 Skypoint--Please change to 6000 Sky Pointe.  Thx,

Rob

I will verify everyone of these in the next 5 months.

Thanks for taking the time to verify.  I think I remember the Las Vegas list being last updated about a year ago, when they had a bunch of them open up.  Perhaps some of those have fallen off the list.  A comparison of the Las Vegas list over at the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition, and the list from the AFDC shows a real mismatch in Las Vegas as to who is actually carrying E85 right now.

Perhaps you can pick up the phone numbers off the list from AFDC, check out who is and who isn't, and get some prices, and update us.  That would be great!  Here is the link with phone numbers.  Simply type in Las Vegas, a 25-mile radius, and it will give you names and phone numbers:

http://www.afdc.energy.gov/afdc/locator/stations/

Thanks in advance!

Thank you too for verifying... and an update would be amazing!!

These stations aren't claiming to be e85, right? Just wrongly listed in the DB?
Cheers,
David

I made quite the discovery when searching for e85 stations.  I noticed that Rebel was selling it in several gas stations around the Vegas area.  I went to the Rebel website and they list what each station sells.

Instead of me listing them all (I believe the # is 18) here’s the link http://www.rebeloil.com/index.html

Click on store locations:

The following cities have it:

Vegas
Henderson
Boulder

From what I’ve witnessed, they have a pretty accurate website.  I haven’t noticed any that said they had it and they didn’t.  So far they’re 100% in my book.  Good luck!
