Wow, thats amazing, I knew it cost more than that to buy it. I would gladly take over their E85 accounting, as that error seems to be very elementary. Thanks for checking up on it and reporting.

I spoke with them page...they went almost a full month far far below costs.. while $2.40 clearly "sucks" I dont think anyone was compalining when the Station lost thousands of dollars selling below cost
I know it's frustrating but the prices will come back to "normal"  levels

Anyone ask the Station Why it did exactly?

I was told by a station that most stores have had increased prices. Its all in the profit acquisition or greed factor. Some time ago, I was told it takes about 80-85 cents to distribute E85. That is Plant price plus profit. The station takes the hit on transport cost if I am correct. Here in Knoxville, Pilot has had a monopoly in the selling of E85, and is 1.59 a gallon now same as Regular gas, The new station is 20 cents a gallon cheaper. I hope this will stimulate competition. in the local market. I never understood how That station in Smyrna could sell it for 80 cents a gallon, considering it comes from the same place Knoxville gets it. But I do know this, Smyrna has been lower 99% of the time. I hope we can get a fixed price of .99 a gallon soon. I will still buy it over gas even if its a little over gasses pricing. But not at a gouged rate like what your saying.

Anyone ask the Station Why it did exactly?

Actually Page ..I posted elsewhere on this ..Smynra was for almost a month selling for $1 less a gallon then what is was costing them ! They caught their mistake and are now at $2.40 a Gallon trying to make up for what they lost http://e85prices.com/tennessee.html ..someone at corporate wasnt calculating the price like they were suppose to  :P

No Kidding, but whats up with the price gouging all of a sudden. You woudl think the oil companies were behind it..lol   I am thinking they may have changed to E70 blend.. Does anyone know for sure?

With Nordic Amer. Tanker It's $ 9,000 a day for a Suez size tanker and about $ 18,000 a day for a super tanker. These were the prices about a week ago and the dry bulk shipping is really down the tubes. Later.

How much would a 2 month lease on a tanker cost ??

Bet you could haul a load to Concord,  CA  and find a few

   interested buyers ... ;)
